“Your Voice” Legislative Session Series (Virtual) Meeting

During the 2024 Florida Legislative Session, RWCDF President Esther Byrd will host YOUR VOICE IN TALLAHASSEE on Fridays for the purpose of getting to know our legislators and educating members and non-members on the law making process. We will spend 30-45 minutes with a Rep or Senator and the balance on education. 

In our republican form of government, YOUR VOICE in the state legislature is represented by those people elected to the state House & Senate. In order to effectively advocate for policy, we must build relationships with our legislators. They have to trust us to engage without attacking them. Therefore, any participant exhibiting disrespect will be immediately muted and removed from the meeting. You can disagree without being disagreeable!

These meetings are primarily for members of a Federated Club, but non-members are welcome as long as participation is in good faith. Voter registration status will be verified prior to participation. Event registration is required to receive the Zoom link. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with the class and grace of a Republican woman.
